Overglaze Pattern Decal Assortment Set of 6This assortment includes six overglaze pattern decals designed for use on glazed ceramic or fired enamel surfaces. These decorative transfers allow makers to add repeating patterns and graphic elements to finished pieces, offering a simple way to introduce layered imagery and surface detail in ceramic or enamel work. These decals do not include backing paper or a protective top film, and should be handled carefully to avoid damage before application.ApplicationCut the desired section of the pattern if needed. Place the decal in clean water and soak for about 2030 seconds, or until the decal begins to release and can slide freely. Carefully slide the decal onto a previously fired glazed ceramic surface or fired enamel surface. Adjust the position gently and remove excess water using a soft sponge or lint-free cloth. If air bubbles appear after application, gently press them out using a soft, smooth rubber scraper or squeegee, working from the center toward the edges. Apply light pressure and take care not to damage or shift the decal pattern.Allow the piece to dry completely before firing.FiringFire in a kiln to Cone 017Cone 015 Approx. 1,200F1,500F (650C815C).Because kiln environments vary, it is recommended to test fire first to determine the most suitable temperature for your kiln setup. Results may vary depending on kiln calibration, firing schedule, piece size, and temperature reading accuracy.Safety NoticeThis product contains lead-bearing materials. Fire only in a properly ventilated kiln within a well-ventilated studio environment and avoid inhalation of fumes during firing. Finished fired surfaces may or may not be food safe; food-safety suitability must be determined through appropriate professional testing before use on functional ware. Store unused decals in a sealed container and handle materials carefully to minimize exposure to dust or vapors.
